Billing questions

Questions, answered.

Does Vixie take a cut of my sales?+
No. You pay one flat monthly or yearly price, and that's it. Customer payments go straight to your own Stripe, PayPal, Square, or SumUp account, or through your Shopify checkout. Your payment provider charges its normal processing fee. Vixie adds nothing on top.
Why are there two sets of plans?+
Shopify and Wix ask apps to bill through them. So if you sell on Shopify or Wix, you pick Launch or Growth when you install, and the charge goes through your Shopify or Wix account. If you sell at events or on a Vixie online store, you pay Vixie directly with Booth or Store.
What happens when my free trial ends?+
On Booth or Store, you need a card only to go live with an event. If you added one, your plan starts when the 7 days are up, unless you cancel first. If you didn't, nothing happens until you choose a plan. On Shopify, billing starts after 7 days. Uninstall before then and you pay nothing. On Wix, billing starts after 7 days. Cancel the plan from your Wix dashboard before then and you pay nothing.
I sell on Shopify or Wix and at events. Which plan do I need?+
Growth. It covers your Shopify or Wix store and QR ordering at events, and both print from the same Print Queue. On Launch, you can test-run an event to see how it feels first. Growth takes it live.
Can I switch plans later?+
Yes. Move between Booth and Store any time from your Vixie account. On Shopify or Wix, switch between Launch and Growth there, the same place you picked your plan.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?+
Yes. Every plan is 10 months' price for a full year, so you get 2 months free.
What currency am I billed in?+
Plans are priced in US dollars. The Wix App Market can show the price in your local currency. Your own product prices can be in your local currency, so customers see prices they recognise.
Is Wix supported?+
Yes. Install Vixie from the Wix App Market and pick Launch or Growth there. They cost the same as on Shopify, they're billed through Wix, and you get a 7-day free trial. Your site needs Wix Stores.
What about Etsy and WooCommerce?+
