Mixed-size sheets

Pack 2×2, 2.5×2.5, 3×3 squares, 2×3 / 2.5×3.5 rectangles, and 1.5"–3" circles onto the same sheet. The packer fits as many as the paper allows, automatically.

Bleed & cut offsets built in

Every magnet size in the Vixie catalog has its outer-seam, artwork bleed, and cut offset configured. Drop the photo and the studio handles the cutter math.

Per-magnet crop & rotate

Drop a photo, drag to position, scale to fit. Crop is non-destructive — adjust mid-layout without re-uploading.

Edge text & captions

    Pick your paper and magnet size

    Choose Letter, A4, A3, 13×19, or any of the supported sheet sizes. Pick a magnet — 2×2, 2.5×2.5, 3×3 squares, 2×3 or 2.5×3.5 rectangles, or 1.5"–3" circles. Or switch to puzzle mode and pick a grid. The studio shows the live cell layout before you drop a single photo.

    Drop your photos

    Drag photos from a folder straight onto the sheet. The studio places them into open slots and fills the sheet front-to-back. Reorder, rotate, or swap by dragging.

    Crop and adjust

    Click any photo to crop, scale, or rotate. The crop is non-destructive — you can keep tweaking after the magnet is placed. Add edge text, date stamps, or event captions if your run wants them.

    One click. The PDF lands at 300 DPI with bleed, ready to send straight to your printer. Or print directly from the studio if you're plugged in locally.

Is the Print Studio actually free?+
Yes. The Print Studio at studio.vixie.app is free, with no signup, no watermark, and no upload limits. It runs entirely in your browser, so your photos never leave your device. Vixie pays the bandwidth.
What sheet sizes does it support?+
US Letter (8.5×11), A4, A3, A5, 13×19 (Super B), Tabloid (11×17), Legal (8.5×14), 4×6, and 5×7. The packer adapts cell counts to whichever paper you pick.
What magnet sizes can I lay out?+
The standard Vixie magnet catalog: 2×2, 2.5×2.5 (default), and 3×3 squares; 2×3 and 2.5×3.5 rectangles; and 1.5", 1.75", 2", 2.25", 2.5", and 3" circles. Mix sizes on the same sheet — the packer fits as many as the paper allows.
Does it work for puzzle magnets?+
Yes. Pick a grid (2×3, 3×3, 3×4, 4×4) and the studio splits one image across the grid as a connected puzzle, with the right bleed on every internal cut. Each piece is a 2.5×2.5" magnet that snaps together with its neighbours.
Can I save my templates?+
Templates persist in your browser via local storage. Across devices, you need a Vixie account — which also unlocks the live order queue and customer ordering side of the platform.
How is this different from Canva or Photoshop?+
Canva and Photoshop are general design tools — every magnet layout starts from scratch. Print Studio is purpose-built for magnet sheet math: it knows your paper size, magnet sizes, bleed, and packs photos automatically. What takes 15 minutes in Canva takes about 60 seconds here.
What file format does it export?+
Print-ready PDF at the resolution your printer expects (300 DPI by default). Works with any consumer or pro photo/sticker printer — Canon, Epson, and DNP are the most common in the Vixie community.
